Local builders
Built around the area, not around our diary.
Devon is a big county. Realistically, we cover the south-western corner of it well — Plymouth, the South Hams, West Devon, the southern edge of Dartmoor and across the Tamar into South East Cornwall. That's roughly an hour from our yard.
Within that radius we've delivered the full range: contemporary new builds in coastal villages, Class Q barn conversions on working farms, listed-building restoration on moor-edge cottages, and large extensions and loft conversions on Plymouth's mainstream housing stock.
We work with three different councils regularly — Plymouth City Council, South Hams District Council and West Devon Borough Council — plus Dartmoor National Park Authority and Cornwall Council. Each has its quirks and we know them.

FAQs
Common questions.
Anything specific about your street, postcode or property? Drop us a line — we'll come back the same working day.
- How far across Devon do you actually work?
- Honestly — anywhere roughly an hour from our Plymouth yard. That covers Plymouth, the South Hams, West Devon, Tavistock, the southern edge of Dartmoor and out into South East Cornwall.
- Do you work in North Devon, Exeter or East Devon?
- Not as a rule. Travel time eats into productivity and the wrong builder for a site is a builder who isn't on it. For Plymouth-side and South Hams projects we're a good fit; further afield, we'd recommend a more local contractor.
- Can you handle planning across different councils?
- Yes — we file regularly with Plymouth City Council, South Hams District Council, West Devon Borough Council, Dartmoor National Park Authority and Cornwall Council.
- Are you set up for rural and remote Devon sites?
- Yes — off-grid drainage, water, heating and power design is standard, and our project managers are used to single-track lanes, tight access and rural-site logistics.
